SFAW NEEDS ATTENTION!!!

SFAW is my home park and they haven't gotten a coaster since 1999 and that coaster isn't the best in the world! They need a good flying or an awesome hyper or giga by anyone!Who agrees with me and who thinks they will get a new ride in 2002? BOMB13
I agree that Astroworld is the bastard child of the Six Flags chain. I wish they would really put some money into the park, adding some great new attractions. I could see an Impulse going in before any of the ones that you've mentioned, though.
They had alotta attention when they had the worlds #1 coaster until 1987. I dunno what to say, they had alotta attention then. O well. I guess, build a very high coaster, that seems to be getting attention (for some reason.) Does Barb Colnar still PR there?

Ow! My lap bar IS down all the way.
yea texas has 3 Six Flags.. no competition right there. maybe thats one reason why they dont add some because everyone goes to the popular texas six flags

Something SFAW needs more than a new coaster... PAINT! Almost every building and queue has BADLY peeling or completely worn away paint. Maybe they could get a sponsorship from Dutch Boy Paints or something. It was really noticable, otherwise I would keep a comment like that to myself.

"X" marks the spot in 2001!
SFDL also got nothing since 1999. They both should get some new rides/coaster. Hopefully SF will add something and not forget about these parks.
Actually, even with all the competition Astroworld still gets packed. But this thing needs an original coaster to give it charachter.
SFEG also hasn't gotten nothing new since 1999. The last coaster was Boomerang and after riding all the time, I would like to see a new ride at SFEG.

It isn't about forgetting them, new coasters in particular only go to parks that can handle them. The parks have to be big enough and get more attendance to pay for the new ride...Maybe SFAW just doesn't get enough visitors...

At least SFDL has a world-class #6 hypercoaster of their own (S:ROS- ranking based on Golden Ticket Awards) and every square inch of the park doesn't need new paint like SFAW. I thing SFEG needs more than SFDL, because they haven't gotten a new ride since 1999 (a boomerang) and the ride before that was an SLC in 1997. Trust me SFEG needs it more than SFDL, but, SF should just pay attention to, refurbish, and give GOOD rides SFAW, SFEG, and SFDL (in order of desperate need, from most hopeless park to least hopeless, even though all of them need billions of dollars worth of improvments). All of these (excluding SFDL on the hyper part) need a good Intamin or B&M hyper-out & back or hyper twister and a good B&M Invert. And for Astroworld, 100,000,000,000,000 gallons of new paint jobs.

Life is like a coaster---You go up, down, turn-around, and upside-down...and then there's all that pressure on your head, too...

Thank you! I finally get someone who thinks SFEG needs a new ride.ASPUltraPro, why are you complaning? SFDL HAS the NUMBER 6 COASTER (S:ROS- ranking based on Golden Ticket Awards). Seriously, your home park has a Intamin Hypercoaster. SFEG has NOTHING that big. SF would work with SFEG & SFAW first, then SFDL. I would love a B&M hypercoaster or a Intamin hypercoaster.

Why build a coaster at a park that has all there coasters shut down and will probably shut a new one down.
Bashing SFAW again. This is why I never post. BrandonR all you ever do is Bash SFAW and sites suck too. It is a joke. SFAW has space to build. SDKAW Gets plenty of attendance. SFAW is cleaning itself up. Who knows if SFAW will get something? Nobody does yet. we all will have to wait and see. Yes AW is neglected and yes it is not the nicest park in the chain. This is SF not Cedar Fair. The money you you make goes into a pool and gets spent on other parks. Six Flags wasn't going to spend money on Titan and then turnaround and add stuff for competition at SFAW. SFAW, SFFT, and SFoT al compete against each other. Competition is good. BrandonR all you ever do is Bash SFAW and sites suck too. Your just like Morris except younger and more nieve.

I'm glad you feel the same as I do- I was afraid people would jump on me for saying SFEG doesn't need something, SFDL does!

Mr. Crap Caca is my name-o, C-r-a-p, C-a-c-a, Mr. Crap Caca. Just ask SFMM Salvi and his 3-year old cousin! :) Thanx for the cool name SFMM_fa_life!
Well SFDL has a 200 foot hypercoaster and SFEG doesn't and that guy is complaining that SFDL hasn't gotten anything new. SFEG's tallest ride is the Mind Eraser. The last ride that was added to SFEG was a Boomerang.

I live in Dallas and I have been to astroworld,
a while back this year Lone Star Thrills said somithing about Texas Tornado not opening back so far this year. Maybe they will take it out and put something there, but other than that, do they have any room left for another coaster ?

I think they should get an intamin Impulse with the twist on it. then i would finally get to ride one .

Titan laps :12
Haven't been to SFEG, but it sounds like they could use a little something NEW. However, competition brings the good stuff to consumers, and they don't really have it. For that matter, if SF owns all the parks in TX, competition isn't really a concern there either. The question is "how much additional attendance will we get for the additional expense of a new ride"? Money drives the equation...
