Dealing with non-riders.

My mate is not a coaster fan! She will ride the water rides, most flat rides and she will ride Batman. Our park is SFOT! She has gotten on Mr. Freeze,Texas Giant, and Flashback- she says I will at least try them. She did, but won't get on agian :)! She won't even attempt the Titan though:):), but that doesn't bother me, she always goes to Six Flags with me and never complains about the lines or anything else. She tells me she finds it interesting to watch me ride these monsters, she says my face just lights up when I look at them. She thinks I am a nutt though-:):)No matter what coaster I ride she will stand in line with me the whole time- no matter the wait time, she just crosses over the seats and waits by the exit when it is my turn to ride! Even though she is a non rider she is a great sport and lets me get my coaster high!!-------------

just make her go on one she will learn to like them. That is what it took for me to get on a coaster. Someone to drag me on.

I remember in '99 I planned a whole trip to Six Flags Great Adventure strictly to ride Medusa...I was so psyched! Then I saw it and s**t a brick. I just couldn't do it. I felt so bad that I completely abandoned coasters all day (I never really was too much of a fan anyway though...the biggest coaster I'd been on was Viper!)

Then, later on, my friend talked me into Batman The Ride, trying to convince me that it was cool. I was dying on the whole line, asking myself, "What are you DOING on this thing?" Finally, I got into the station, we climbed the lift, and after that first drop, I had a blast. I ended up going back on three times afterwards and I was hooked. Next year, I hit Medusa and TGASM, and this year, I conquered my first hyper, NITRO!! Next year, I'm taking on MF the Mad Giga at the Point...and I couldn't be more excited!

What a difference a year makes!!!
