Who built STE @ SFMM?
And what was the cost? I heard Intamin and $15m but I'm not sure.

That's correct, I think it was more like $20m.

Yup, $20m - www.rcdb.com/installationdetail140.htm

Yeah, it's an Intamin ride, but isn't another company responsible for the LIMs?

I think NASA is responsible for the LIMs, aren't they the ones who developed them?

Hmm... I don't know about that. In fact, I think Arrow worked with NASA to develop LIMs.

Even still, I actually think the company responsible is Vekoma.

What about Force Engineering? Their LIMs are used on Premier's Launched Coasters. www.force.co.uk

NASA didn't come up with LIMs. Force Engineering makes them, as stated above.

S:TE doesnt use LIMs it uses LSM's just like California Screamin. Both of them are the ONLY INTAMIN rides to use LSMs, all the other Intamin rides use LIM's.

I guess your right baddboy, but you forgot one coaster that also uses LSMs. ToT! Same ride as S:TE, except it's only 1 track and has a giant drop on the side.

I heard Vekoma was responsible for the LSM's on S:TE. ut I recently got back from a trip to Dl and DCA and the logo on the LSM's is not an intamin one.

Todd, you're gonna have to change that signature a bit. Three lines is the max.

California Screamin does use LSM's not LIM's and yes the vekoma launched rides use LSM's as well. You can tell the differnce becasue a LSM ride as stators running along the launch section pushing the car from underneath. LIM's use fins on the sides (in the case of the Intamin Inverted Rides on top) to push or slow down the car.
