What color was Mindbender at SFOG before they painted it green?

Oooh, good question. From what I remember it was a simple dull grey/silver. But I only saw it twice in person ('88 & '94), though I'm pretty sure it was grey from the "America Screams" video with Vincent Price.

It was a really really cool METALLIC green in the old days. The trains were the same color, with a rainbow stripe. Then it was painted with tan supports and brown track, metallic tan trains. Each train had a solid stripe, red, orange and yellow. Now it's the Riddler colors... I heard they actually wanted to rename it the Riddler. Glad they didn't do that!

I thought the brown track looked good, rcdb.com had pictures up until last year of the brown track. The green doesn't look bad, but the Riddler theme is strange with the cars question marked to someone who knew it better as the plain MindBender. Although, I can't say I remember it as being silver, or green at first, guess I was too young to remember.

I have a kids sing along movie, and one of the places they go is SFoG. They ride the Mindbender, and the track was rusty/red/brown from what I saw.

It looked better when it was brown.
