How's VertiGo at CP coming along?

Yo everyone, just wondering if the Aug. 1 date for opening is still on for this new upcharge. Myself and seven other SFGAm employees will be at Cedar Point on August 1 and August 2 (my bday! What better a present than this S&S!:))

At any rate, I'm *really* looking forward to riding this thing, if anyone knows of the opening date, please post it. If you've been to the park in the last couple of days, does it look possible for this Wednesday or Thursday?

I was there last Friday and they were still doing ground work for the ride vehicle. The three towers are up.

With it right next to Magnum's lift it is quite impressive looking. As far as an Aug. 1 opening, unless they move quickly, it probably won't be open.

It will NOT be up for the 1st.. Was there today taking more pics.. it won't be ready. The ride vechicle was assembled the other day and the building for the compressors is just about finished.

Looking about a week maybe a week and a half. The rain in the past few days hasn't helped.
