Batwing...it was great

I rode Batwing for the first time on Saturday. It was my first flying coaster. The lines were way too crowded and it kept breaking down, but after an hour and 1/2 of waiting, I finally got on. The minute the train fliped us, so we were facing the ground, the coaster became my new favorite. It was definetly the most fun I've ever had on a coaster...and I ride coasters all the time!

The Vekoma flying coasters have grown on me. Stealth left me underwhelmed last year, but this year it's riding alot better. And X-Flight is a blast. I like to call these coasters "group experience" coasters cause you want to take your friends on them to see the reactions on their faces. ;)

I didnt care for Batwing because it was pretty rough and just not that much fun.

I just rode Batwing less than a week ago, and it was hands down the most intense coaster I've experienced. The G's in the loop must be felt to be described.

HINT: If you want to get 3+ rides on Batwing in under 30 minutes, buy a season pass and go an hour before opening on Tuesday. "Prime Time" is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Heck, I like it better than sliced bread. ;)

The following statement is true.
The preceding statement is false.
I have got a season pass but I only go on saturdays when the only area open to pass holders is the water park, besides I always tend to arrive at the park at around 10:30 11:00 am.
X-Flight is my fav coaster now. I just rode it yesterday. Awesome!

1.SFWoA ride op's :)
Unfortunately, Batwing seldom opens on time. However, if it does open on time, the "Prime Time" can help you on other days of the week as well. Using "Prime Time" you will already be through the gates and well into the park while everyone else is still lined up at the metal detectors. I did this on a Sunday and it would have worked great, except Batwing didn't open unitl about 1:00. Hopefully, they'll get it opening on time soon.
I can't think of too many coasters where people get off and say "it was a long wait, but it was worth it!" Batwing is such a coaster. It is a little bumpy at times Medusafanatic, but it causes no headbanging because of the restraints! That alone is something to celebrate. It may not be everyone's favorite coaster at SFA, but you won't soon forget it! I just wish they could get two trains running reliably, and so I can experience a less than one hour and a half wait (besides media day of course).

Does Batwing have any scenery, or theming? Or is it just like X flight?

PCW needs something taller than a boomerang
Hey X-Flight is my Fav. And monday morning I got to Ride X-Flight times in a hour because of ACE. They invited us to go to SFWoA 7am. And we got to Ride SUE and X-Flight. The best part? You dont have to get out of your seat! You can stay in front If you want! It was awesome. And last sunday ACE'ers got ERT on BKF or Villain I rode BKF. And you didnt have to get out of front seat. thier were only 4 people on each train!

I personally did not like Batwing, I thought it was a poorly designed rollercoaster that if it were any worse it would be Togo. I will ride X-Flight next week so i would have ridden both clones.
On my trip up north, Batwing was one of my highlights. I really really really liked that coaster.

You are right on the money. When you said that Batwing is great.Me and my buddies road Batwing an oh boy was it a fantastic ride.We rode Batwing 3 times. It is the most coolest coaster that I have ever been on.I have been on so far 28 Roller Coasters and when my buddie & I go to PKD on August 18 and ride XLC it will make my track record up to 29 coasters that I have been on.

I'm glad that this seems to be a great coaster becuase i'm going back to sfa this fall (i went last year and rode all the coasters they had then) and i'm only going to get a ride on batwing...can't wait! (that sf season pass sure does come in handy!)

"who needs drugs when you have coasters...they're like a natural high"
Vekoma flying coasters are gonna get REALLY rough, just wait and see. heck, stealth at PGA is already showing signs of aging. During the corkscrews, the roughness is just unbearable. I try not to go on that ride unless my friends really want to.
X-Flight was a great ride, over a period of 3 days I rode it 5 times with my friends. The only thing is flying coasters need new designs and track elements. They all seem the same. I cant wait to see the Alton Towers one.

Check 1, Check 2, Reclining. X-Flight
I don't see how you people can think that Flying Coaster are rough! They aren't the slightest bit rough!!!! My head never touched anything but the seat back. Also, the restraints are on your shoulders...not near your head, so what can you hit?

Anyway, X-Flight is AWESOME!!!!! My #5 coaster behind MF, PR, Nitro, and S:ROS at SFNE.
