Most Six Flags parks visited.

Who on this board has been to alot of SF parks? I would like to know who has been lets say to at least 10 of them. These are the people that have the right and knowledge to label Six Flags overall. Alot of people that rip on SF overall havent been to enough of these parks to form an opinion. I have only been to 3 of them so I never have formed an opinion as to the SF name in general. Also, if you have been a multiple SF park visitor please share your personal opinion on SF and which SF park gave you the best experience. (Chitown SF parks, SFGAm,SFSTL,SFoG)

I have been to SFMM, SFOT, SFFT, SFGam, SFO, SFGrad, SFMW, SFDL and SFNE. So I would say I have been to enough to form a judgement good and bad about the chain. I also don't like it when people say "Six Flags is this or that". Then you find out they have only been to SFO, the newest in the chain. Overall, I like the parks although some are MUCH better run than others.

I've been to SFAmer, SFDarienLake, SFGrAdv, SFNewEng, SFOhio, SFoGeorgia, SFSt.Louis.

I agree with Simcoaster, and I was to the parks that were bought by Six Flags, before and after the change in ownership. I my opinion, although I don't like everything they have done over the years, the parks are much better than they were, and we should all be grateful for the coasters they have put in, as well as the ones that other parks have put in to compete.

Season pass from SFGrAdv is about $70 dollars and includes parking. Considering you can use this pass in any of their parks, I'd say this is about the best deal of any park out there.

Lets see I've bee to:
1 SFO (rained)
2 SFKK (sunny)
3 SFA (sunny)
4 SFGADV (rained)
5 SFNE (rained)
6 Wyandot (not SF but owned by)
7 Great Escape (same as above)

I'd rate SFNE and SFGADV best over the ones I've been to. SFA I rate worst and SFKK coming in next to last. The rains were all day rains with no letting up. And I still had a better time at those parks than the other two with good weather. Lines at SFKK and SFA weren't long either. Things weren't open! I'd expect that with rain but not on a nice day.

I'd say SFGam, SFMM and SFOT are three of the countries best parks. But like Jeff has said, they benefit from being already set up nicely by their former owners. I would say SFGam has even been improved somewhat by the Six Flag's ownership. I'd say all the workers from SFO, should take a over there to see how a SF is SUPPOSE to be run. ;)

(Will do the California parks at the end of August and Texas in Sept, so by then I can be a Six Flags semi-expert, for whatever that's worth.)

I found them ALL inconsistent in service and cleanliness, but love the flexibility the Season Pass allows. Hate the walls covered with chewing gum (SFoG), bored ride ops (most of the parks) and variations in theming.

I found SFGrA to be among the better spots, but still found some minor quibbles there, but is fun to see the babboons climbing on cars from MEDUSA'S lift hill!

I agree with Coasterpunk on his assessmemnts, but had better experiences at KK and SFA.(I got to do S:ROS 6x opening weekend) And SFSL was a fun day for me, especially since THE BOSS had just opened and I got 4 laps on it!

Loved the fact that SFKK parking was only 3.00, a bargain on the theme park circuit. (Although I'm still baffled why anybody charges to park when they know you're gonna spend $$$ at their place...If malls did that they'd lose their business. I guess we can blame Disney for starting that one.)

In their defense, I will say that every technical emergency I witnessed (and I've seen about 11 at Six Flags parks this summer) was swiftly taken care of, with ride ops immediately there comforting stranded riders each and every time.

Overall, I love the chance to experience so many varied parks for such a low price but wish the corporate training policies and standards were enforced to get everybody in line and thinking like Disney or Busch park employees!

SFGreat Adventure I grew up at.I am trying REAL HARD to get to SFA.I really liked SFO. It bugs me that it seems no one takes a good look at G A. I met two enthusiasts in a line at a non SF park.They made a joke that I admitted I was from NJ ,it was funny:),but refused anything I had to say about Great Adventure.To me that says Great Adventure is snubbed.CP CAN learn things from Great Adventure.We have great flat rides including the new Huss Frisbee.I still have yet to get to the new water park.It is supposed to have the longest lazy river ,my favorite!

My Favorite park is either Magic Mountain, Great Adventure, or America. The worst is Six Flags Ohio and Kentucky Kingdom.

My favorite is SFGAm for its rides, staff, and overall well run operation. I'd group them like this:

SFGAm, SFMM, SFGAd, SFoG
then
SFO, SFStL, SFDL, SFA
then
SFKK, SFNE

I've liked something about every SF park I've been to, but SFNE, I had the absolute worst time because of crowds/operations. Rides constantly broke down. It was just a mess.

I've been to SFMM (once my homepark), SFGam, SFSTL(also was homepark), and now SFMW (my current homepark). I enjoyed them all. In my opinion, according to the SF's I've been to, SF is my favorite chain of theme parks. Of course, most of the ones that people complain about, I haven't been to. All of them, esp. SFMW, were well run and had beautiful scenery along with great rides.

No, the worst is definitely SF Elitch Gardens. Basically, it's SFO, minus superman, villain, batman, and big dipper (the best rides in the park I may add), with the Six Flags title slapped on the park.

SFoT has been a SF park all its "life".

Chitown: Much like yourself, I have been and likely always will be partial to Great America (I still have problems calling it Six Flags Great America, as no one in Chi says all that) anyway, the parks I've been to (In rank order)

1. SFGAm (former home park)
2. SFMM (long time ago - 1987)
3. SFoG
4. SFA (current home park & home of S:ROS the clone)
5. SFStl (long time ago - 1987 as well)
6. SFKK (did I ever mention how terrible the bathrooms were...see TR section...)

So I've been to two of the originals and two of the newest (and a couple of tweeners). I think this gives me a good basis to comment from (even though I have not been to as many as some).
