If they can flip 360, then they have to flip back 360 before finishing the course. I haven't seen the device really up close, but it appears there's a tie rod that goes from the second rail bogey to the seats. That said, it can only go so far before it has to come back.
Regarding the seats going in different directions, I'm wondering if that wouldn't shift the center of gravity to somewhere not desirable.
I'm still waiting to hear if that guy who owns the patent on the concept is going to sue Arrow...
