Nemesis...closed...

I was at Alton on Sunday and Nemesis was shut for the whole day due to 'Technical Difficulties'. Was this due to the construction of Air that is going on a shoe throws away from Nemesis or were they just having problems?

If it was 'cos of the building, does that mean that it will be closed for the entire of the rest of the season whilst building work goes on?

I know that Oblivion was stopped at least twice. The reason for the first stop was unknown to us, but the second was an eagl-eyed ride op saw that one of the riders had a camera or a phone or something with them, stopped the car (bus) on the lift hill. Some poor guy had to go up, get the object and then a load of empty cars sent round and a long delay (does anyone know why this was, I'd be interested to know).
Then we saw Corkscrew be stopped and empty trains sent round.

If Alton have one major ride closed and two having frequent faults, what will they do?

"'cos you know, it's strange! You stand in a library and go "AAAAARRRRGGGHHHH" and everyone just kinda stares at you, but if you do the same thing on a aeroplane everyone joins in!"
I heard about this but no one knew why it were closed.
it had better open again soon cos i might be going this weekend.
I heard it was because of consturuction.
LOL Xen, nice signiture.

I can understand them closing it for constrution and for themeing purposes I can understand the "technical fault" message, however, if they have to keep the ride closed for the whole summer season, people will be most unimpressed!
They could always be planning on getting as much of the ground work for 'Air' done before the main season hits and then stopping (to keep Nemeisi open) and only start bringing track in once they close (a frequent tactic when building their SW rides (though some people did manage to spot Oblivion track whilst they were trying to keep it hushy)).
