My overall impression in my short time at Hersheypark, was that it was clean, had plenty of shade, and was a lot bigger than I expected. They really need a train to the back of the park.

We headed strait for Sooperdooperlooper.

Sooperdooperlooper (1 lap):This ride has a nice loop that is threaded by it’s own track. A relaxing but fun ride. I really enjoy the freedom of lap bars. :) :) :)

Great Bear (2 laps):We got one ride in the front seat. Great Bear kind of reminds me of a smaller, shorter Montu. The unusual helix at the top is really neat. I like how Great Bear uses the other rides and water around it. How did they fit that in there? Too bad the ending wasn’t that great. :) :) :) :)

Lightning Racer (1 lap Lightning 1 lap Thunder):Wow! This coaster is a huge surprise! I loved it. Dueling or racing, whatever you want to call it, is put together wonderfully. Possibly my favorite woodie. :) :) :) :) :)

Wild Mouse (1 lap):This ride has a lot of extreme laterals, but isn’t that what a wild mouse is supposed to be like? :) :) :)

Wildcat (1 lap):Ouch? Another coaster that surprised me. This coaster was very rough for GCI. I came off with a headache. Don’t get me wrong, Wildcat has some positive points. It has a lot of airtime, especially for a twister. It could be a great ride if it wasn’t so rough. :) :) :)

Sidewinder (1 lap):Another Boomerang. This one is very rough. As GregLeg would say, “ding!” :) :)

Trailblazer (1 lap):We went on this after lunch. A few ground-hugging helixes but it could use another lift hill. :) :)

Comet (1 lap):Very smooth for an old coaster. I like the scenery around the ride. Overall, a nice little ride. :) :) :)

We spent a total of about four hours at Hersheypark. They looked like they had a good selection of flats and water rides but we didn’t get on any of them. Oh yeah, Chocolate World is pretty cool too.
