Why doesnt SFGA offer anything to season pass hold

Im a Six Flags Great America Season passholder for 3 yrs and was wondering what people thought of regarding the lack of perks to season passholders. We get no perks at all while other six flags parks give pass holders special parking and a special entrance and now offer 1 hour early entry time into the park, besides what cedar point/paramount parks offer. What do you think about this, why doesnt SFGA offer passholders anything like other parks or even parks in the same chain?
SFGAdv is the ONLY Six Flags park that has the separate entrance and parking...this is also due to the fact that SFGAdv is the largest seasonal money maker (MM doesn't count since it's opened year-round) and SFGAm doesn't get nearly as much business that SFGAdv does! Also, what Six Flags park lets season pass holders in early? None that I know of. Could you fill me in as to where you heard of these? SFGAdv only gives a small discount on merchandise, the special parking and entrance, and a discount of $10 during Coaster Celebration.

At Six Flags America they let you in an hour early and ride rides if you are a season pass holder.

Hardly buddy. They let you in at 9:30 and you wait at the territory til the chains go down. Its always been like that. All we get is good coupons.
Six Flags StL lets you in at 9:00 for ERT for selected areas, the day I went it was Batman, Ninja and joker, Because my pass is from SFKK I had to pay $5.00 to take advantage of it.

Actually I think sfgamfreak is right. Six Flags America, SFSTL, and SFAW all offer primetime to season pass holders which lets you in one hour early to a certain section of the park to ride the rides. I don't know how exactly the system works at SFA or SFAW but at SFSTL all season pass holders who bought and processed your pass by June 4th are allowed in during the Prime Time otherwise you have to pay $5 each time or buy an upgrade for $19.99.

Also I don't know this for sure but SFGAD doesn't draw that much more than SFGAM. I know both draw 3 million plus per year and I think SFGAM is second highest attended seasonal park in the six flags chain behind SFGAD. Anyone have the statistics to back me on this? I thought SFGAD draws like 3.6 million and SFGAM draws like 3.2 million. I don't know for sure though. So actually I think SFGAM should have some kind of perks for season pass holders like SFGAD.
Six flags Great America offers no perks other than a coupon pamphlet that is almost useless. What are the odds of passholders getting ert time on DeJuVue due to the parks inability to open the ride on time and spending the whole off season promoting 2 coasters for this year. Paramount did that for passholders when Son of Beast didnt open on time. The park just takes the season pasholders for granted compared to other six flag parks which do offer perks, also other theme parks such as Cedar Point/Paramount offer perks.
Hmmmm... last time I checked the purpose of a season pass is to allow "unlimited access" to a park for a season. You go to to SFGrAm 3 times or more, your are "going for free". (If you are only planning on going to a park 2 times a season, I wonder why one would buy a season pass). Also, it gives you admission to other SF parks.

Now it seems like that is not good enough. Now ERT is startign to be considered an expectation, not simply a perk. Now free admission is not enough... now other free stuff is expected. Oh well.

I agree, the season pass in itself is a HUGE bargain. Their price is something like $89.00. 3 trips and you have saved money.......and good at all their parks. My $45 Kentucky Kingdom pass has been used at KK, GR Am and St Louis so far this season. Quite a deal.
I could say I've saved a lot of money with my season pass but ever since I bought the thing, I haven't saved a dime. Motel rooms, gas, food, souvenirs, car repairs, parking, entrance to other parks not to mention ACE dues, coaster videos or roller coaster tycoon. Darn expensive hobby we all have!

It would be nice if SFGAm offered some sort of benefit to pass holders but I probably wouldn't use it anyway since it would most likely be morning ERT and I only go at night.

The best launched coaster without an OTSR? Viper, SFGAm, Row 3, 1 Click!
Most other theme park operators offer perks for season pass holders and even a lot of six flags parks offer perks so why should great america be any different? They offer season passes because its in their best interest to have us in their parks spending money and not because they are doing us any favors, its a business decision that makes them money or they wouldnt offer it. Escpecially when they spent the whole off season promoting 2 coasters this year and one isnt open yet and who knows when it finally will. If other theme parks offer perks their is no reason wht great america shouldnt do the same.
