There are only two Cedar Fair parks with a traditional "Corkscrew" Arrow coaster, they would be Cedar Point and Valleyfair! Knott's Corkscrew (now at Silverwood Park, Idaho) opened in 1975 as the first modern day roller coaster (or successful) to turn riders head-over-heels. The following year, Magic Mountain took it to the next level with the world's first successful 360° vertical loop. So I guess you could say the modern looping genre began in California.
