Why dont we as fellow coasterbuzzers share our strategies and should I say (Secrets) of making the odds greater of winning that prize for your significant other or child. What prize games do you frequent when visiting a park because you know you have a good chance of leaving with a stuffed teddy-bear? My favorite is the wiffle-ball throw because I know how to put a backspin on the ball and increase my chances of landing it in a colored hole. The other favorite of mine is the water gun to the target games. I have a steady hand that usually lands me a Scooby-Doo for my daughter. Share your strategies or secrets.

Plate break.
It seems as if they give me more and more of the plate to hit each year. It's not fair to them. :)
Of course the bear is only worth a buck, but it makes my wife happy.

About the only games I play are the dart games. Back in school a buddy of mine bought a dartboard so we used to play everyday as a "study break". I was pretty good for a while. But it's been two years so I may be out of practice now.

Two words: Wacky Wire.
You know, that game with the spinning metal coil. You have to guide a metal ring over the spinning wire all the way to the bottom without touching. Most people find this to be almost impossible. I find it to be super easy. Here are a couple tips:
1. Kneel down. You want to be eye-level with the bottom of the wire, because that's where the only tricky part is. The top of the wire is simple if you do it slowly.
2. Grasp the wand just outside the ring, not at the ends of the wand. The closer your hands are to the ring, the less likely you'll make extraneous movements that will cause you to lose.
Try these. On 7/10 I won 2 out of 3 times and walked out of SFGAm with a huge killer whale (close to 6' in length) and a giant octopus. The whale barely fit in my fairly large Oldsmobile, and I couldn't fit the octopus in, so I had to give it away, which made someone's day.
