What is a Raven Turn?

What is this? To me this simply looks like an immelman, whats with the new name?

No its differant from in immelman. In a immelman, the track flips at the top. A raven turn doesnt. It just goes up. And comes down. Doesnt flip. What that mean is. You will enter the Raven turn on top of the track. And leave under the track. Get it?

No, not the same thing at all. Think of it in terms of a regular invert. You would go into the Raven turn in the standard below the track position, when you left the inversion instead of being turned below the track again like an immelman you would be above the track upside down(head down, legs up). Of course with the 4th Dimension train this isn't exactly the scenario, but I hope this clarifies the difference.
Immelman=half loop + half twist
Raven Turn=half loop

Sort of like on a flying coaster?

I thought the Raven Turn was where the coaster is built on a pier out over Lake Rudolph.........
