Tony Clark gone from CP?

It has been confirmed with someone over at Pointbuzz that he is no longer with SF.

It will never not be weird to use "Six Flags" when discussing what's going on at Cedar Point.

You know, this is the first time in 28 years that I didn't know someone in the Cedar Point marketing office. Actually, I'm not even sure if there is a marketing office anymore. I mean, it's been two and a half years since I've even been there, but it still makes me sad.

This sucks. Another example of the parks losing their own identity.

Back to the moving to Texas discussion...I lived in the DFW area for about 18 months after COVID before eventually moving back to the East Coast. Texas has a lot going for it. There's always something to do, and I can absolutely understand why so many people move there. But at the end of the day, it just wasn't my style.

I grew up on the East Coast, so I really missed the lush green landscapes and overall scenery. Much of the area felt dry, dusty, and brown to me, and I just didn't find it as visually appealing as where I was used to living. The heat was also a major adjustment. From May through September, it often felt too hot to comfortably spend time outside, and that eventually took a toll on me.

Another thing that surprised me was that I didn't find people to be quite as friendly as the Texas stereotypes would lead you to believe. That's obviously just my experience, and others may feel differently. Texas is a great fit for a lot of people, but for me, it wasn't my cup of tea.
