Cedar Point 8/3

Spent the day and night at the park yesterday. We stayed at Breakers which did exceed my expectations. Are the rooms a little worn and overpriced? Yes, but it’s fine as a spot for a great location and somewhere to crash your head. I thought the landscaping was great as well as the grounds. Much better kept up than I thought they would be.

As far as the park, I think it looked great! Honestly no issues really at all. Operations were good and every ride seemed to be running besides Gemini blue side. Lines weren’t terrible either.

Service at the restaurants we dined at were kind of slow but not god awful. We did Fridays for lunch and Bay Harbor for dinner. Food at both were pretty meh. I expected more out of Bay Harbor but looked like the nicest place to dine at for dinner that night.

As far as the rides go, we got a good amount in! I’m also at the point in my life where I don’t need to ride everything either. I’ve ridden all the rides a great number of times and am getting a bit old to be able to handle them like I used too.

We ended up riding Millennium twice, Iron Dragon twice, Skyhawk, Mine Ride, Thunder Canyon, CP and LE Railroad, Gemini, Magnum, Wild Mouse, and a few of the rides in Camp Snoopy for the kids. We also checked out the pool at the Breaker's for a bit as well.

Overall a great time and I was honestly relieved that really not much at all was different compared to my last trip 2 years ago. Let’s hope the positivity continues!
