Getting into pools, in the nicer resorts, is pretty much a non-starter now. Most of them are gated. I've worked from a hotel twice, but bought food in each case. I can't imagine going there just to work. There's no benefit.

Too much of a distraction for me. I wouldn't get anything done.
This seems like strange timing to me. I mean, I've really never heard anyone complain of the status quo, nor seen any evidence that the "abuse" was significant enough to cause any disruption to resort guests. It makes me wonder if they are cracking down now in anticipation of some new dynamic that might exacerbate the problem. For instance, if they were to add any other transportation option to get to or from Springs and other parts of the property, I could see that "free parking" becoming a bigger enticement.

I'm not sure this is any disruption to resort guests---you scan your Band/KTTW, and off you go.
No, I meant that the previous policy of not requiring bus riders to be resort guests did not seem to be disruptive to resort guests. Granted, I don't/didn't ride the busses very often, but on some of my stays when I did, I did not encounter full busses unless it was at the end of the day leaving a park.
