We are part of the now very legacy Six Flags Membership Program from 5 or 6 years ago. Last year on one of our visits, we were told that we'd need to get new cards to have access to the other former Cedar Fair Parks this year, as we'd automatically get the all park option added on. With SFGAm opening this weekend, we were thinking about going down to do that, but, I thought I'd ask here and see if anyone else who is a legacy member has gone through this process - if there even is a process - this spring at one of the other Six Flags parks. We've not gotten anything recently in email about the change, etc., and of course, this was all mentioned before many of the parks were spun off. Any insights?
New poster here (been lurking for ages.) Not sure if it’s considered “legacy” but I am a long time CP/Premier/Prestige pass holder. When I went earlier this year to KBF it was a nightmare trying to get my pass acknowledged. 40 minutes at the KBF customer service and they were able to rectify. Also just went to KI last weekend with no issues. I unfortunately lost my physical card so I'm relying on the digital pass within my CP account (also shows up in my SF account - which feels like they are trying to move everyone to the general SF app account overall?) My only advice would be to be prepared for some haggling. SFGAm is my home park so will be curious how it goes for you.

May it be a light to you in dark places, when all other lights go out.
The Six Flags app is very buggy. It shows things one day and then doesn't another but it seems the point of sale systems in the park get things right mostly.
My pass is home parked at Kings Dominion but I've done 11 visits to Great Adventure with little issue other than a Fast Lane issue the first day due to the change in pricing and me contacting customer service when that happened. They refunded and canceled my previous purchase and I had to rebuy the add on (saving $500). Then I got to Great Adventure and it wouldn't activate. So I had to go to the Premium Experience Center and after 40 minutes they had it corrected and it's worked every visit since.
Sometimes you might need to log out and back in to refresh things on the app.
I wrote SF customer service about this a couple weeks ago - I am hoping to use my pass (home park: Great Adventure) at SF Mexico. No response as of yet. Everything looks active. But we'll see if and when I get there.
(SF customer service was very responsive up through earlier this year when I've had questions; this is the first time I haven't had a rapid response - usually next day.)
Are the problems occurring with the app itself, or with entitlement enumeration on the back end?
I don't use the app at all, I just have a picture of the QR code from my KI season pass (which is actually a CP card because I had to have it replaced there). That has scanned fine at KI and CP and I've never been denied meal, drinks or fastlane. Do the former SF parks have the ability to scan QRs for entitlements or do they actually rely on the app? It would be nice to know before we hit up SFOG soon; that will be our first SF park visit with this pass.
I have used my old Cedar Point hard card at Great Adventure this year to test it and it worked. But since Fast Lane is tied to the phone I use my phone more now. It's what displays in the app. The point of sale machines seem to show the things that aren't showing in the app, like my drink plan this past weekend.
If you have issues go to the Premium Experience Center of the park you are visiting and they can look up the Cedar Fair legacy passes and make sure it works for your card/app, whichever you are using. This probably goes the same for the reverse with legacy Six Flags passes and the location that was known as Upgrade Your Day before this season. Not sure if they changed the name this year as I've yet to go to a legacy Cedar Fair park.
Hope that everyone has their physical cards still, or at least one in a digital wallet because six flags broke their app on Monday with an update, it’s impossible to log in, as attempting to do so sets up an infinite loop where as you log in, it brings up the log in screen again. I’m just posting to vent as it’s been four days, the company knew about the issue within hours, and it still hasn’t been fixed. This is why going all digital will never work.

Can you log in via desktop? If so you may be able to print the barcode. Shouldn’t have to, of course, but….
I have both a physical card and the pass in my Apple wallet, however at parks with digital Fastlane only I suspect I currently would t be allowed to use my all season Fastlane.

There should be a QR Code that you can scan at the park to get to the fast lane website for the park and link your pass from the account number on the hard card to your season pass fast lane. At least that is how it works at Great Adventure.
The Great Adventure site is https:\\ga.sffastlane.com
Kings Dominion is https:\\kd.sffastlane.com
The Fast lane sites are also a great way to look at wait times outside the parks.
