But it's not about Moana. It's about water. And it is very much in the edutainment spirit of the original Future World pavilions. The world in which Moana lives is just the framework within which to do it. Yes, Te Fiti is there, and that's pretty cool if you like the movie. But the interactive features plus the little informative plaques are fun.
If you want to be grumpy about "IP does not belong in Epcot," that's your prerogative. But that ship sailed a long time ago---and I think to Epcot's overall benefit as a park with the job of entertaining lots of guests.
