Great Adventure tease

Who says LinkedIn isn't useful? The park's GM posted a link to a teaser on their site:

There are stators and locking pins on that track, so something launched with a live track switch, I would assume.

Was reading Attractions Magazine's article about it (I think I sent it in) and its a switch track, which I think is neat. Phantom Spire anyone?

Do they always ship with all the electronics and fins installed?

I know they did for Top Thrill 2, which I know was built by Zamperla not Mack, but they have in the past.

Sorry, I missed the new submission. Here's the link to that story: https://attractionsmagazine...r-coaster/

It looks like the blowers connect to tubes right along the stators for very focused air flow. Those have to be insanely loud, like Dyson hand dryers times however many there are.

If it's anything like TT2...it will be loud. I remember staying on point during CoasterMania 2024 and could hear the stators from my room during a 1am test...and I was up in Lighthouse Point.

I remember Kings Island showing passholders several coasters a few years ago, asking which one was more appealing. One of those coasters was a launch coaster with spinning seats. All the people who know about these things think that is what it is.

It seems a little underwhelming to me, especially for a replacement of a record holder like Ka.

Eightdotthree: I figure they ship as assembled as possible, to reduce the chance the construction company mis-aligns or otherwise screws things up.

The flattened ends of the crossbeam tubes reminds me of those old crappy backyard swing sets. Just screams "cheap" to me even though I know it's not in this case.
