another new up charge ride at sfgadv

According to screamscape, there's another new up charge ride at sfgadv called the sling shot. Can anyone else confirm this/give more detail??

It is a slingshot that costs a completely stupid $20 per person. I would much rather spend my money on Turbo Force. Turbo Force is only $8 per person and is much longer and thrilling ride! The Slingshot is just too much money. I'll wait until the price goes down to ride it.

I was at the park on Sunday, and it's back by Dino Island. I think it cost $20 to ride it.

Yes it is there alright, has been for about 3 weeks now.

does sfgadv have a sky coaster?? Also, when was the last time u were there??? If you were there quite recently, how many rides were down?? One of the things i am looking forward to are the many flat rides (mainly frisbee, jump and revolution) and i'm hoping they won't be down.

Now they have a sling shot too? so now this year they added Nitro,a sling shot,turbo force and the trampoline rides and everyth9ing beside nitro (of coruse) is an upcharge fee. if you ask me they are trying to make money for somthing new.

I had a short trip there tonight.Viper is still down and yes,they do have a skycoaster.Evolution was not running and,the huss jump has not worked yet this season.Robin side of the chiller is still Missing in action.Besides those things,everything else was running and,quite efficiently to.I had a 40 minute wait tops for Nitro and Medusa.Everything else was a half hour or less.From 4:00 pm til 9:00 pm i did 8 rides,3 Nitro,3 Medusa,1 batman the ride,1 rolling thunder.I could have walked on GReat American scream machine but,i saved myself the headache and,i didn't feel like waiting a half hour for Chiller.Skull Mountain didn't look busy but,i was mainly there to ride Nitro at night.
