Package deals??

I was just thinking about this. With all of the sponsors to the Six Flags chain, I am sure there must be an airline and a hotel chain in that bunch. I think it would be a good idea to have a package deal to visit lets say 3 SF parks. You would go to the travel agency and they could offer you a discounted rate for 3 different destinations at SF parks. Also a hotel would give a package rate to stay at one of there places closest to the parks of my choosing.
Example: I want to visit SFO, SFGAdv, and SFSTL. I fly out of Ohare to StLouis on United. Check into a Holiday Inn closest to the park. I would visit SFSTL, spend the night and then fly out of StLouis to Ohio. Repeat the same steps for SFGAdv. For someone like myself who doesnt have alot of family or friends that enjoy coasters that much, it would be ideal for me. If there is such a package then I am all ears!!!

The problem is that few Six Flags parks are really considered vacation destinations. You don't hear people say, "Yes, we're going to Six Flags Darien Lake this year," like you would hear the same for Disney or even Cedar Point to a certain degree. There are so many Six Fags parks, all serving a certain region. Sadly, many of them have the same rides as well.

The original concept for Six Flags over Texas was that it was to be a regional park. The following parks were built with the same concept, to tap a local market. They were never intended to be a resort or final destination resort.

And how many people that aren't on this board do you think plan their vacations around rollercoasters? The discount would not convince many more people to go on roller coaster only trips.
