The FBI suggested that the Dearborn terror plot suspects might have been planning an attack at Cedar Point. In the criminal complaint released Wednesday - the one that includes all three of the accused - the FBI outlined information that suggests there might have been a plan to attack the popular amusement park. While the document never actually mentions Cedar Point by name, it mentions several details about the amusement park that clearly identify it.

Gunkey Monkey:
I hope people know and understand, there are security cameras EVERYWHERE in parks these days. From the toll booths to park entrances, from hotel public spaces to retail stores, from food stands to ride platforms, everyone is under constant surveillance. Many you don't see but they are there!
No cameras in the restrooms. Someone clogged one of the TT2 urinals on closing weekend.
Saw a couple of employees working on it Saturday night, but it was still out of service all day Sunday.
Perhaps not a terrorist attack, but it did cause some disruption.

I considered Dorney but went for the Michigan angle.
I presume we will find out that the FBI agent who infiltrated their group was brainstorming about targets with them, and presumably sold them whatever disarmed weapon they showed up at the gates with.
Dorney might have worked too as at least one had ties to New Jersey
Hope there's more to their case.
...the Michigan men purchased firearms, firearm accessories and ammunition in recent months and had been practicing shooting at gun ranges...
Someone used a computer apparently shared by Nasser and Ali to search "is it crowded on halloweekend" at the amusement park, according to the complaint.
