Where does Talon give the most airtime??

Im heading up to DP on thursday, especially for Talon. Everyone is saying how Talon not only gives positive G's, but great airtime. I was wondering, where does this occur? Also, Ive heard Talon is very quiet, almost silent. Does it use that new Sand gravel mixture?

i think i heard somewhere, the reason why it's quiet, is because the tracks are solid, not hollow. i may be wrong though.

I gives a small ammound af airtime, maybe 2 to 3 seconds, but it is nowhere near the most airtime. Also, I'm not sure how they filled the rails, but it is pretty quiet.

I understand the rails are filled with sand. It's extremely quiet.

When you're asking where the airtime is, are you asking where to sit on the train or where to expect the airtime along the course of the ride? I'm not sure if it matters where you sit, but I do know there's a nice pop approaching the brake run.

Talon is extremely quiet because the rails were filled with the Sand and Gravel mixture...just like Kraken was because the locals of the area were comlaining of it going to be too loud. Personally, if I lived there, I would want to hear the B&M roar everyday!

Also, the best place to sit on Talon for the airtime is in the back. Following the S-Curve, you go down about a 30 foot drop under the lift hill, and you fly out of your seat. Then, you go through a corkscrew and a helix. After the helix, there is a nice speed hill with air, and the ride into the brake run throws you out of your seat also! Excellent ride!

Back seat is the best airtime. The best spot on the course is right after the helix -- the dip before you hit the brake run. There's really not much airtime at all on this coaster but then, do any inverts really give good airtime?

There really isn't much airtime anywhere. I would recommend the right front seat for the best visual perspective and don't worry about air.

There is PLENTY of airtime on Talon. Ride with your restraint loose! Give yourself room to breath...don't staple yourself in!
