Wooden Warrior named for new Quassy roller coaster

The Wooden Warrior is the name chosen for the new, wooden roller coaster at Quassy Amusement Park in Middlebury — a marquee ride replacing The Mad Mouse steel roller coaster, a fixture at the park since the 1980s. The name didn't come from a committee of marketing experts and studies. It came from schoolchildren.
