Wardley: Yes, a B&M flying coaster at Alton Towers in 2002

Since few CoasterBuzz members were able to attend the European Coaster Club's first annual general meeting in the UK, few could confirm that the rumors about John Wardley (worked with B&M for Nemesis and Oblivion) announcing a new ride for Alton Towers were true.

We went to the source, Wardley himself, and he replied with this answer:

"Yes, this is true. I did announce at the annual general meeting of the European Coaster Club that the first B&M "flying" coaster is currently being built at Alton Towers, and will open in March 2002."
