Village Roadshow preparing to build theme parks in China

Village Roadshow co-chairman and chief executive Robert Kirby says the entertainment company aims to operate a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of theme parks and property in Southeast Asia by 2020 after yesterday outlining a funding agreement with China’s state-backed investment major Citic to pursue projects in the region.
