Universal Orlando Resort has extended its popular getaway offer allowing families to book a three-night package and receive two additional nights free. Packages begin at $689 – or less than $35 per-person/per-night for a family of four – and include accommodations at a hotel near Universal and unlimited theme park admission. Families have until March 29 to book for travel that can begin immediately and run through October 8, 2009.
Families can upgrade to one of three on-site AAA Four Diamond hotels at Universal, with packages starting at $1,144 – or less than $58 per-person/per-night. Plus, guests of the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel and Loews Royal Pacific Resort receive complimentary Universal Express access, which allows them to skip the regular lines at most theme park attractions.
This offer includes the chance to experience everything two great theme parks – Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure – have to offer, including The Simpsons Ride, recently selected as “Best New Attraction of 2008” by the highly respected Themed Entertainment Association. It also includes a value-driven way for families to experience the all new Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit scheduled to open this spring. Guests will have the unique opportunity to personalize their coaster experience by selecting the soundtrack for their ride and customizing the footage from their adventure into a take-home video.
Families wanting longer stays can also book a four-night package and receive an additional three nights free – including unlimited admission to both Universal Orlando theme parks – beginning at $789 for a family of four staying at a hotel near Universal and $1,390 for a family of four staying at an on-site Universal hotel.
All rates are valid for booking through March 29, 2009 and travel now through October 8, 2009. More information about the travel packages, including some restrictions, is available at www.universalorlando.com.
