The Texas Chute Out is officially no more. The iconic parachute ride at Six Flags Over Texas, which had its last hurrah on Labor Day weekend, was imploded today to make way for the world's tallest swing ride, the Texas SkyScreamer. Around 2 p.m. this afternoon, the Chute Out was toppled by the Dallas Demolition Company. The 200-foot-tall ride, which opened in 1976, has seen more than 29 million riders through the years.
