Steel Dragon 2000 at Nagashima Spaland halted suddenly Saturday, seriously injuring one passenger and another person at a nearby pool. The accident occurred when the first car of the coaster ran off the track and halted about 8 meters above the ground. The coaster can climb as high as 97 meters. A college student was seriously injured after hitting her back when the coaster came to a sudden halt.
