Six Flags Worlds of Adventure had hoped to finish construction by now on Hurricane Mountain, an attraction that consists of seven water slides that can reach speeds of 27 miles per hour. A park spokesman said recent wet weather, coupled with frozen ground earlier this spring, pushed back the construction schedule for Hurricane Mountain, which was to open to season pass holders tonight and to all park visitors on Saturday when the park's other water attractions will open for the season.
