Six Flags has indicated to the city of Vallejo that they will not exercise their option to outright purchase Six Flags Marine World this year, which is currently owned by the city and operated by the company. A letter to the city's mayor from Six Flags indicates they want to put it off as they have been implementing a heavy capital investment plan throughout the chain.
