The Monster Plantation water ride at Six Flags Over Georgia will cease to exist in its current state when the park closes for the season after Halloween. The ride will be totally renovated in time to be unveiled as Monster Mansion in May of 2009. Monster Plantation opened in 1981 and has been a must-ride attraction for families at Six Flags. It has consistently ranked as one of the park's most popular attractions.
