On Thursday, the Kootenai County commissioners approved Silverwood's request to rezone 95.5 acres of adjacent land, where the park plans to eventually expand attractions. The company will wait, though, until after the Idaho Transportation Department completes the expansion of Highway 95 and an interchange leading to a new park entrance.
