Sea World San Diego capital imporvement plans approved by commission

California's Coastal Commission yesterday approved Sea World's controversial expansion plans, a proposal that pitted environmentalists against many of the city's business and political leaders. The plans in part include the construction of more amusement-oriented rides, which the park says are necessary to remain competitive.
