Using local-positioning technology, a junior cousin to the loftier global-positioning variety, privately held SafeTzone is peddling systems whose sole purpose is to let people track each other within the confines of today's sprawling theme parks. Wrist bands transmit radio signals to various receivers while computer terminals throughout the park allow others in the party to look up the whereabouts of others in their party. The system is currently in use at Wet 'n Wild in Orlando.
