An Opryland-style theme park on the banks of Percy Priest Lake would damage the natural beauty of the Hermitage area and choke its already-clogged streets with more traffic, neighborhood groups say. They are reacting with skepticism and some alarm at a proposal by Nashville Shores water park to add a dry-land theme park. Neighborhood leaders said they knew nothing of the proposal until reading about it Tuesday.
