A 1910 carousel featuring 46 hand-carved horses, a lion, tiger and deer has been declared a New York City landmark. The Forest Park Carousel in Woodhaven, Queens, is the city’s first carousel to get the designation. The Landmarks Preservation Commission unanimously approved it Tuesday.
