Plunge opens Friday following ten week delay

Knott's Berry Farm today announced in a press release that Perilous Plunge, the world's tallest and steepest water ride, will open this Friday. The ride was supposed to open July 1, but was delayed because of what the park calls "routine" adjustments and testing.

The ride's records are:

• Tallest water ride (121 ft./37 m)
• Tallest drop (115 ft./35 m)
• Steepest drop (75 degrees)
