PKI to offer free admission to service personnel and their families

Paramount’s Kings Island honors regional emergency and military services personnel from around the Tristate by offering free admission for the last two weekends Oct. 26 – 27 and Nov. 2 –3 of the park’s 2002 operating season. All emergency and military service employees from Cincinnati, Dayton, Indianapolis, Columbus, Louisville, Lexington, Huntington/Charleston and surrounding communities are invited to participate.

Emergency and military service personnel include regional firefighters, law enforcement officers, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, military and other employees of these organizations. Emergency and military workers who present their badge or ID at a special booth at the park’s entrance will receive up to four complimentary tickets for themselves and their guests.

“We greatly appreciate what an outstanding job they do to protect us,” said Craig Ross, general manager and executive vice president of Paramount’s Kings Island. “This is just one small token of our appreciation for putting their lives on the line every day and for their commitment to serving the public.”

Sunday, November 3 is the last public operating day for Paramount’s Kings Island during the 2002 season. The park will be open Oct. 26 - Oct. 27 and Nov. 2 - Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
