Animal protection officials conducted an inspection of Marineland on Thursday morning after a Toronto Star investigation last week reported animal suffering and neglect at the Niagara Falls theme park. OSPCA inspectors, as well as members of the Niagara Falls Humane Society and the Canadian Association of Zoos and Aquariums, were involved in the probe. Outside marine mammal experts also reportedly joined the inspection.
