Nashville Shores owners want to build theme park

Owners of Nashville Shores waterpark, located just east of Nashville, want to build a multimillion-dollar amusement park on their 376 acre parcel of land that includes the 20-30 acre water park and its parking lot. The waterpark owners are having trouble getting approval from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, but are hoping to work something out soon.
