Several residents and members of Lee's Summit's business community came to the Lee's Summit, MO City Council meeting Thursday night to voice their opinions on RED Development's proposed Legoland project. Approximately 25 public comment statements were made to a crowded council chamber room. Arguments both in favor and against the proposed $220 million Lego-themed park were made; however, the council did not confer on the issue and continued the public hearing until Thursday, June 14. At that time city staff is expected to give the council their report and analysis.
