In what many predict will be a huge shot in the arm for the economic and tourism landscape of the region, officials pulled back the curtain Thursday on the new $350 million Legoland New York resort slated to open just over the border from Sussex County in two years. Occupying a 150-acre footprint on a site totaling 500 acres, the family amusement complex will be the largest of the Legoland family of theme parks when complete.
