Marineland files third defamation suit against former employee

Marineland has sued a third former employee in four months — this time for $2.5 million. The marine-animal theme park filed a defamation and slander suit against Jim Hammond, a public critic of the Niagara Falls amusement park. The Niagara Falls business also wants a public retraction and apology from Hammond for comments he made to media about Marineland in September 2012 and March 2013.
