A 19-year-old said Sunday that he was beaten by security guards while celebrating the July Fourth holiday at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, leaving him with a concussion and broken bones in his face. Corey Carlson said he had done nothing to warrant the alleged attack. But his account was challenged by a spokeswoman for the amusement park, who said Carlson had to be subdued by security officers after he was ejected for smoking marijuana. The spokeswoman, Nancy Chan, said Carlson had punched one officer in the face.
