Two years after opening, Legoland Florida is adding a hotel to its theme park in Polk County. The park said Thursday that it will build a 152-room hotel, themed after the popular building-block toys that make up the basis for its park. The hotel is expected to open in 2015. General Manager Adrian Jones said the hotel marks a shift in the park's strategy of attracting day guests from Tampa and Orlando, giving it the ability to market overnight stays.
