Levi & Korsinsky, LLP announces that on February 5, 2010, they filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of all current holders of units of interest in Cedar Fair, L.P. ("Cedar Fair") (NYSE:FUN) in connection with Cedar Fair's attempt to sell the company to affiliates of Apollo Global Management ("Apollo"). The complaint charges Cedar Fair, Cedar Fair's board of directors, and affiliates of Apollo with violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 14a-9. In particular, the complaint alleges defendants have issued materially false and misleading statements in its proxy statement schedule 14A regarding the proposed transaction wherein Apollo intends to acquire Cedar Fair.
