Last year's fatal accident still hurting Australian theme park industry

Village Roadshow says last year's fatal accident at rival Ardent Leisure's Dreamworld is still significantly hitting visitor numbers and earnings at its own theme parks, even in Sydney. Village Roadshow owns Movie World, Sea World and Wet'n'Wild, and said on Tuesday it expects full-year earnings from its theme parks to be about $55 million, down from $88 million in the 2015/16 financial year.
