Clipper Cove, the extension of the Splash Harbor water park at Lake Compounce that took the place of the historic carousel at the south end of the main midway, is nearly complete, but not yet ready. The 1911 carousel, in a new building, is operating in its new location between the Casino building and the bumper cars. Students and teachers made up nearly the entire crowd Thursday, which for the park was considered an education day.
